The Policy Research Associate (Energy Poverty) plays an integral role in furthering Efficiency Canada’s work on energy efficiency and energy poverty. This position involves supporting the Director of Action Research in executing energy poverty-related research projects and other initiatives, including organizing and facilitating workshops, delivering presentations, and collaborating with external stakeholders. As a member of the Policy Research Team at Efficiency Canada, the Policy Research Associate (Energy Poverty) will report to the Director of Research and play an integral role in informing organizational tactics and strategy to advance energy efficiency policy and programs for lower-income Canadians and Indigenous communities.
